The whole family camped one weekend at the Barcoo River near Isisford. My daughter in laws sister and I went on a short walk and arrived at this pretty little water hole not too far away from our campsite. Water means life. The hot weather and low rainfall spell out the temporary nature of many little water holes out this way. Nature doesn’t usually take that into account and will make hay while the sun shines so to speak. You just never know where a short walk is going to lead you.
