This pretty little zebra finch features often in the landscape out here. Usually they are very busy with life and live and work in community. It seemed that this little mate just needed a few moments of time out to sit and think about life for a moment or two. During the drought years, we had cattle on agistment in all sorts of places. Thankfully people were supportive and found a spare paddock here and there for our remaining stock. This time we were on a place called Lake Huffer up past Aramac.
