Mostly when we have enjoyed a good season and there is plenty of grass seed around, bird flocks, like this group of quarrians, often increase in number. One of my most favourite things to do when I can, is to photograph birds just doing bird kinda things. They are all in sync with each other, so they all seem to know when it’s time to stop with the fluttering about and sit , chat and rest up for a bit. I sometimes think they might have their life priorities organised a bit better than us sometimes.
