This image was taken at the Thomson River, the local watercourse for the town of Longreach in Queensland. There is a quiet section of the river called Lilly Lagoon and from this image you can see its namesake in all its pretty detail. They float here by the hundreds and the flowers have attracted this little butterfly. I promise this is not an AI addition. It was as lovely a surprise to me when I zoomed in during the editing process as I hope it is to you.
